Established by chef/owner Max Ruegsegger in Calgary, Alberta in 1989,
Gourmet Royal is well established in the catering business. We have long been
regarded by many as an integral ingredient required to ensure the success of
events whether it be wedding planning, corporate entertainment/functions, party

Max Ruegsegger received his training in Switzerland, where he also worked in
some of the most prestigious resort hotels prior to relocating to Canada.
Certified as Canadian Chef the Cuisine in 1986, Max started Gourmet Royal
Catering 3 years later. Our ever-growing list of satisfied clients is testimony
to the pride and care we take in preparing and delivering all your catering
